Historical OriginThe legendary Shree Balaji Mandir, Salasar Dham Salasar was established in 1754 after an idol of Lord Hanuman was miraculously discovered by a farmer in Asota village. Inspired by a divine dream, the devotee Mohandas Maharaj brought the idol to Salasar, where it was enshrined to bless millions of followers.Spiritual SignificanceThis temple is unique as it depicts Lord Hanuman with a beard and mustache. It is one of the most prominent Shakti Peeths in India, where the deity is worshipped as a "Swayambhu" (self-manifested) form. Devotees believe that tying a coconut at the temple premises fulfills their deepest wishes.Darshan Timings and FestivalsThe temple gates open at 4:00 AM and close around 10:00 PM. The atmosphere becomes electric during Hanuman Jayanti, Chaitra Purnima, and Ashvin Purnima, attracting lakhs of pilgrims.
