History and Divine LegendSanwariyaji Temple, located in Mandfiya, is dedicated to Lord Krishna, known here as 'Sanwariya Seth'. In 1840, a milkman named Bholaram Gurjar dreamt of three buried idols. Upon excavation, three beautiful statues of Krishna were found; the largest was enshrined at Mandfiya. It is one of the most prominent spiritual places in Rajasthan.Significance and ArchitectureThe deity is revered as a divine business partner. Devotees often donate a percentage of their profits to the temple. Built with pink sandstone, the temple showcases exquisite Rajasthani architecture with intricate carvings, a magnificent sanctum, and a grand dome that reflects timeless craftsmanship.Rituals and Visitor FacilitiesDaily rituals include Mangala, Rajbhog, and Sandhya Aarti. The temple complex offers modern facilities like clean dharamshalas, free meals (prasad), and ample parking. For a peaceful experience, visit between September and March. Modest attire is recommended, and photography is restricted inside the sanctum.
